Mission Statement
Fusion Architecture, APC defines ARCHITECTURE as the process of development,
design and construction of the built environment.
Development
The development process includes the research of land and the physical environment
for the production of ARCHITECTURE. The physical characteristics of a place
will ultimately shape and influence the design response and constructed space.
Existing land use, accessibility restrictions and value are various factors
that will indicate the validity of a project and influence design decisions.
Design
Design is the transitional process of incorporating development influences
with design program requirements to produce ARCHITECTURE. This process includes
defining the aesthetic and functional direction of the proposed building project.
Also included in this process are the size, form, space and material of the
proposed structure. Once defined, these elements are assembled into drawing
forms that can be executed to construct the built environment.
Construction
Construction is the process of constructing the built environment. It is the
realization of the development and design processes and its ultimate success
is integrally tied to the conclusions drawn from these processes.
